The Monkeypox Virus E8L Monoclonal Antibody is a hybrid protein of mouse and human origin, consisting of a single light chain and a single heavy chain. The light chain is composed of a variable region (VL) and a constant region (CL) while the heavy chain is composed of a variable region (VH) and a constant region (CH). The VL and VH regions are responsible for the binding of the antibody to the antigens on the Monkeypox virus, while the CL and CH regions are responsible for the production of anti-viral proteins.

Activity of Monkeypox Antibodies

The Monkeypox Virus E8L Monoclonal Antibody binds to the antigens on the surface of the Monkeypox virus, blocking the virus from entering host cells. It also activates the production of anti-viral proteins, which neutralize the virus and inhibit its replication. The antibody also activates the immune system, helping to clear the virus from the body.
